I learned so much from this class. Most of the things I learned about I value the most now about writing because I had no clue I was going to learn these processes. I looked back at my first blog post called “Course Goals” and I saw that I wanted to learn more about grammar and usage, expanding my writing skills, and learn how to use weebly. I learned ways to check for grammar and usage mistakes. An example I like is reading my paper from right to left bottom to top to activate my brain. You catch a lot of mistakes that way. I expanded my writing skills by learning that not every first draft I post is going to be good. In fact it’s going to be “shitty”. Then you build off of that bad first draft and keep revising until you find your final product. I believe that I have used my weebly account very well. I’ve learned how to post links and pictures into my blogs and essays, and generally use the website. I learned from reading “6 Ways To Be A Hemingway-Level Productive Badass” how to create my own steps to becoming a better writer. The steps I chose were; don’t procrastinate papers, always reread papers multiple times, have another person read my paper, focus on the aesthetics of my papers, find a quiet work space to think and write, and lastly to collaborate my ideas and research. I like to use these steps every time I write. After getting these steps down on paper it makes my writing easier. I use these steps like a check list when I write. I believe that I have fulfilled my process strategies and goals for this course. I feel as if my writing has gotten better from all of the research and lessons we have learned in class.
